School buses will run about 10 minutes earlier this year on the morning routes. Please be outside so drivers know to stop.
Also, remember school dismisses at 3:15 except on Wednesdays dismissal is at 2:00. See everyone tomorrow!!

New student orientation will be Tuesday at 7:00pm in cafeteria. This is for ANY Pre-k through 6th grade student. We will introduce our school to you and discuss drop-off/pick-up procedures, dress code, etc.
There will be a meeting at 6:00pm Tuesday night in the elementary cafeteria for 3rd-6th grade students wanting to play sports.
School starts Thursday, August 15th!! Open House is Tuesday, August 13th from 6-8pm at both campuses. We are looking forward to a great year!
Many times we are asked why the elementary is named Singleton Elementary. Thank you to the Singleton Family for donating this plaque that shares our school’s history. We will display it proudly!
Due to the School Improvement process we are undergoing, teachers are required to have additional professional development weekly. In order for this to happen, we will have EARLY RELEASE every Wednesday at 2:00pm. After a few adjustments to our school calendar, we will still meet all state attendance requirements. We hope that this will also give an afternoon for appointments in light of our new attendance policy. Thank you in advance for working with us to improve Arkoma Schools.

9th through 12th Grade Boys Physicals Friday, July 19 @ 10AM - Game Gym. $5 - Bring all signed documents. Any 6th-12th Grade Girls that need a physical may come after 11AM and be worked in as time permits.

Boys athletes grades 6-12, and parents, will have athletic orientation Thursday, July 18 @ 7PM at the Game Gym. Also football players and their parents will have a meeting right after orientation.
Please plan to attend a meeting this Thursday, July 18th in the elementary gym at 7pm for an all BOYS, sports orientation. Boys who will be playing any sport, grades 6-12, are required to attend. Also, we are asking football parents, and any community members interested in supporting our football program to attend as well, as we will discuss the formation of our new Quarterback Club. Elementary class assignments will be made the second week of August.
New student enrollment for Pre-K through 6th grades will begin July 29th from 8am-2pm, Monday-Thursday.
Pre-k through 6th grades will have a $10 supply fee that will cover school supplies for the year with the exception of pencils. Students will bring their own pencils. That fee can be paid in the office beginning July 29th, Monday-Thursday 8am-2pm.
Want to apologize for the chaotic experience at school today dealing with athletic physicals.
