April 20-22 will be AHS & AMS state testing! Our staff has been hard at work trying to help prepare students. Here are a few things to note:
Students MUST be present for testing. (Virtual students are to report to the west-facing door on the south end of the building, aka the door to Mrs. Morgan's office.)
If juniors (11th graders) miss testing on Tuesday, they will have to conduct make-up exams on Wednesday and will not be available to travel for sports on Wednesday and potentially Thursday as well.
Please make sure students rest up for tests on the night before and have students eat breakfast on the morning of tests at school or at home- feed the machine!
Have students here on time and ready to go on time (the first bell rings at 7:55).
We need students to show what they have learned so that we can continue to improve academics as a school and for them individually. Encourage them to do their best and give them positive reassurances.

Congratulations to a newly accepted class of KTC students from Arkoma High! These are the welders, electricians, and computer experts of the future! Arkoma values technical training as a pathway for students who seek to advance themselves in a future career field in which they are interested. We have many students annually who take the ride to Poteau or Spiro daily to learn from experts in order to be productive members of the workforce. Thank you, Kiamichi Technology Centers, for investing in our students. Way to go, Mustangs!
