Please remember that we are conducting NWEA testing on Monday and Tuesday (December 8th and 9th) starting first period. Please be sure to have students on time and ready to do their best. Also, middle school PE and athletics students will be brought to the middle school campus, not the gym on these two days. Thank you!
FCCLA is hosting a blood drive today (Wednesday, Dec. 3rd) from 8-3 at AHS! We invite the public to be a part of helping in this noble effort. Peak times for the public to come by are from 11-2:30 because of student activity scheduling, so coming by on your lunch break would be perfect (you can come by any time, however). Please check in at the office in the older building first, and we will get you to the donation area. Thank you!
Juniors & seniors will be taking the ASVAB test on Wednesday, December 3rd. Please note that times have changed for the testing and as such, there are new details of which to be aware. Instead of testing in the morning, they will test after lunch.
Morning KTC students will take a bus from KTC in Poteau to the KTC testing site in Spiro. Lunch will be brought for those students to eat on-site. Only students who have driven to KTC classes in Poteau that morning will be allowed to drive to the Spiro campus.
Students on campus should check out a Chromebook from the rooms announced to them on Wednesday. They will be responsible for keeping up with the Chromebook (Chromebooks will be checked in and inspected upon return to campus). Students at KTC will have Chromebooks checked out on their behalf and given to them at the test site (they will still be responsible for caring for and returning Chromebooks).
Students leaving from our campus will eat at 11 and board a bus by 11:30 to ride to Spiro. The test should take no more than one and a half to two hours. The plan is to have students back by 2:30 for athletics.
