The Parade will be moving south of Cook Street at 6 pm and will proceed north of Cook Street around 6:25-6:30ish. Listen for the horns. Wave to your teachers.

Don’t forget the parade tonight at 6 to kick off Virtual School next week! Make a sign, dress up, or just hang out in your yard! We will be by most streets! We can’t wait to see everyone....from a distance!!!

Students having trouble with accessing email via phone: Mrs. Barnes is working on it but: iPhone users will have to add their school email under the blue mail icon that comes on the iPhone. They can also go through safari and access email through google.com. Android users can either get the gmail app or go through their internet browser and access email through google.com.

Virtual School Kick-off Parade will be Thursday starting at 6pm! We will drive the bus routes. PLEASE DO NOT GATHER, just stay in your yards or by yourself along the routes! Hope to see all of our students and parents! Make a sign, dress up or be creative so we see you!!

Teachers will be contacting students and parents today and tomorrow. Some of these calls will come from unfamiliar numbers! Please watch for these calls! Lots of information about virtual school and upcoming events will be given in during these contacts!!

If you have not heard traditional school setting will not happen for remainder of the year. This decided for us by OSDE, for entire state. We are currently working on a continuous education plan that we must put in place for remainder of the year. We will be surveying our community probably more than once to try and serve the parents and students the best we can. Starting sometime during the week of April 6th will be some form of distance learning for students. Also we will continue meals through the remainder of school year. More info to follow as we receive it.

🎉 FUN IDEA AHEAD !🎉 Have you seen the super neat “bear hunt” trend going around Facebook? It’s so fun! Families are putting stuffed bears in their front windows so other families can drive around their towns going on “Bear hunts”. A sort of safer version of hide and seek 😆 We would LOVE to take this idea and put a twist on it for our little Mustangs and call it the Arkoma Zoo! If you’d like to participate, have your child grab a favorite stuffed friend and put it in a window of your home where it’s easily seen from the street by tonight. You might even put a fun fact written big on a sign next to it, just like they have at the zoo so the kids get a little learning snuck in when they find an animal. Then, this weekend or next week, print out this fun bingo sheet, load the fam up in the car and go take a ride around Arkoma for the “drive thru zoo!” If your family makes a bingo, have a fun dance party or maybe even ice cream to celebrate! Don’t forget to obey the traffic laws 😉and share pictures of your family out and about with us here! If you plan on participating, post a fun animal gif in the comments below!
