It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Neil Brannon. Mr. Brannon served as Arkoma Schools Superintendent for many years. He also served as District State Representative from 2002-2010. He was an inspiration to all that knew him. Mr. Brannon always had a kind word and a gentle smile for teachers, parents and students alike. Anyone who knew him knew he was the definition of professionalism. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Gail and his entire family. Mr. Brannon will be greatly missed.
Softball games cancelled today.
Thursday is Parent-Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be conducted through phone calls so be on the lookout for that! If teachers feel that an in-person meeting is necessary, they will call to set an appointment. Thank you for your continued support!

On behalf of Arkoma Schools, we would like to send our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Bobby Parker. Mr. Bob, as he was affectionately known, worked for Arkoma Public Schools for twenty years. You were considered a lucky kid if you rode Mr. Bob’s bus! The elementary was always well taken care of by Mr. Bob and he built so many things over the years for the kids and teachers to enjoy. In memory of Mr. Bob, Arkoma Schools will give a scholarship to a graduating senior. You can read Mr. Parker’s obituary below:
