Mr. Riggs route may also run a little later than usual so please be patient. Thanks again!

If you ride Mr. Riggs bus please be aware that there will be a substitute driver in the morning who has never driven the route. It is very important that you are outside and clearly seen so that they know where to pick you up.Thank you!

Tonight’s Arkoma JH Football game at Quinton has been canceled.

This week we have had students test positive for COVID-19. This has been limited to the JH/HS campus. To prevent the spread of COVID, we have sent several students home to quarantine based on the Health Department guidelines. This is in an effort to stop the spread and is not an indication that every student sent home has COVID-19. We want to stress to parents that they still have the option to keep their children at home and do their schoolwork online OR they can attend in person. Arkoma Schools is in full support of whichever option makes parents and students feel more comfortable.
As we move forward, we will personally contact those who need to be made aware of contact tracing. We will continue to fog buildings, disinfect daily, promote masks and social distancing. We thank you for your continued support in this unchartered territory.

Tonight’s Arkoma - Summitt Christian Football game has been postponed. No make up date has been set.

Tomorrow’s pep rally is postponed!

Picture retakes are tomorrow! We will also take Senior Casuals.

We would like to inform our parents and community that we have had a student at the high school test positive for COVID-19. At this time, we are gathering contact tracing lists and will notify parents as soon as possible if their child will need to self-isolate. We will be in contact with the County Health Department in the morning for further guidance. We will continue to fog rooms and buses daily, along with our other preventative measures. Remember, if your child is not feeling well or shows any symptoms, please keep them home. When in doubt, keep them out!

Fire Prevention Week started off with the Arkoma Fire Department talking with students about fire protocols. Thank you AFD!!!

A COVID notification letter was sent home with some students today. If quarantining is necessary, parents received a call today.
