The Arkoma Student Activity Board Welcomes Everyone Back To School!

VIRTUAL STUDENTS INFO: If your child is enrolled as a full-time virtual student, you should receive a phone call from Mr. Williams by Friday. Mr. Williams is our Distance Learning Liaison and he will set up your child’s online program and answer any questions you may have about distance learning. Thank you!

SCHOOL IS TOMORROW!!! First bell is at 7:55 and the tardy bell is at 8:00. School gets out at 3:05 and NO early release Wednesdays. Please be patient as we work out several new procedures in the coming days. See you tomorrow!!!

Pre-K and KDG parents, with a mask, will be the only ones allowed to escort students to class in the morning. Thank you!

Softball games are cancelled today at Arkoma.

Buses WILL NOT run Aug. 13th and 14th. We are highly recommending students to find alternate transportation to and from school. In order for students to ride the bus starting the following Monday, parents will need to fill out a Transportation Request Form and submit to any school office or email to sharmon@arkoma.k12.ok.us. Forms can be found in the elementary office or online.

OPEN HOUSE will be Tuesday, Aug. 11th from 1:00-6:00pm. Please help us introduce students to their teachers in a safe format. We request that ONLY ONE PARENT accompany the student to their class. Students must stay with their parent at all times inside the buildings. ELEMENTARY (PK-4th): please check in the office. We will only allow one student and their parent to visit a class at a time. We will ask that visits do not last over 10 minutes so that everyone has a chance to meet their teacher. Teachers will have information sheets with lots of FAQs to help you learn the things you want to know! JH/HS(5th-12th): we will host building tours at the top of each hour. The student and one parent will meet their teachers and see where their classes will be held. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before the top of the hour! There will be no entering of the buildings the rest of the hour. Tours will be at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 sharp. We can’t wait to see our kids!!!

Boys Athletic Physicals are underway at the elementary gym. $10 cost for Arkoma athletes grades 6-12. Now until 10:30 am.

Physical Forms/Athletic packets may be picked up at the Singleton campus next week Monday - Thursday 9am - 2pm. Physicals for 6th - 12th grade boys will be done Friday, July 31st from 9am - 11am. The cost is $10. Turn in all forms together and stapled when checking in.

LETS MAKE BACK TO SCHOOL A LITTLE EASIER!!! All students PK-12th grade will pay a $10 supply fee and we will take care of the rest! Students will get their own backpacks. They are also welcomed to buy those cute notebooks and pencils they want. We will have earbuds, but students are welcomed to bring their own if they like. We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!!

NEED HELP ENROLLING??? We now have an enrollment hub for you to use for your convenience! Stop by the registration desk at the elementary campus today and we will walk you through the enrollment process!!!

School starts August 13th!! We are also pleased to announce that our elementary and junior high students will receive free breakfasts and lunches again this school year!!
