Friday’s JH & HS Basketball games vs. Haileyville have been cancelled. Tuesday’s games at Whitesboro have been cancelled. Tuesday, February 9 we have added HS games at HOME vs. Cave Springs. Tip-off for the girls game is at 6:30 pm. Remember MASKS must be worn and you must have your pink entry card to enter.

JH Games start at 4:30 vs. Keota. JH players will receive their passes before they leave school today. High school games start at 6:30 pm. You must wear a mask at all times and show your pass when you pay. Arkoma fans are reminded to enter from the main entry on the east side.

REMINDER: Benchmark testing starts tomorrow. 5th-11th grade students need to have computers fully charged each day when they come to school. Students will not be able to charge computers during class. Please make sure this becomes a part of their evening routine and they charge computers each night. Thank you!!

Students in grades 5-12 need to either have their own personal device or return the signed computer permission form Monday. Thank you!

Reminder that school will dismiss at 1:00 tomorrow. We are also out Friday for a Virtual Day. Thank you.

Congratulations to the 2021 Senior Class Historian, Jaydynn Walden. Jaydynn is involved in Basketball, Cheer, NHS, Oklahoma Honor Society, Indian Student Honor Society, Gifted & Talented, and Student Council. Jaydynn plans to attend college in the fall and obtain a degree in Early Childhood Education. Jaydynn's long-term goal is to move to a third world country and work with under-privileged children.

School will dismiss at 1:00pm Monday to allow staff and students to attend services for Mrs. Shawn Weatherton. Buses will run at 1:00pm.

Arkoma Schools send their heartfelt condolences to Coach Mark Weatherton and sons Cade, Baylor and Cannon, Grandma Beverly and family on the passing of wife and mother, Shawn. Shawn was a big part of our community and school and will be greatly missed by all of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Weatherton family.

Today we would like to congratulate the 2021 Senior Class Salutatorian, Josh Killion. Josh has been active in Football, Basketball, Track, Trap, Archery, Academic Team, NHS, Gifted & Talented, FCA and FCCLA. Josh plans to attend Oklahoma State University in the fall and major in Psychology. Congratulations Josh!

Friday, January 29th will be a Virtual Day for students who attend school in-person. ALL VIRTUAL students, will be required to meet with an assigned teacher that day for benchmarks. Virtual students will be contacted in the next few days to schedule their assessments. Thank you!

We would like to congratulate the 2021 Senior Class Valedictorian, Haven Spoon. Haven has been active in Basketball, Archery, Trap, FCCLA, Academic Team, FCA, Student Council, Gifted & Talented and NHS. Haven plans to attend the University of Oklahoma in the fall and major in biology. She plans to become a Neonatologist. Congratulations, Haven!

Report Cards are going home today. 1st-8th grade students will need a parent to sign the report card and return it to their teacher by Friday. Thank you!

You must be on the LCT Attendance list and you must wear a mask to enter LCT Games. Arkoma Lady Mustangs play at 4 pm today at Panama. TIME CHANGE: Arkoma Mustangs play at 7:30 pm (TIME CHANGE) at Heavener.
