Dr. Connor Stevens with UAFS Music Department came to the high school today to work with Arkoma’s newly formed drumline. He taught a few of the fundamentals of percussion playing and different rhythms that they will be performing new football season!

If your child lives south of Cook St, they will be dropped off approximately 20-30min earlier than normal tomorrow due to a bus driver shortage. The bus will leave the Elementary at 2:45. Please contact the office if your child needs to have other arrangements. Thank you.

Students in Mrs. Westfall's 8th Grade ELA classes visited Greenwood Rising and the Outsiders House Museum in Tulsa on March 27. Mrs. Westfall's students have been reading the novel Tulsa Burning, a novel about the Tulsa Race Riots, and The Outsiders, a novel about teens growing up in Tulsa in the 1960s. The field trip was a perfect supplement to those novel studies.
Reminder, JH Cheer clinic is today from 4-5:30. There will be a mandatory parent meeting directly after, starting at 5:30. Parents must attend the meeting in order for the student to tryout. Thank You!
